If your hair is graying slightly at the roots and temples, try this natural herbal darkening treatment. It will help the gray strands to blend in with the brown, black, or blonde hair. Use the rinse after each shampoo and massage the root ends of your dry hair daily for a week. After this, use once weekly.

Solving hair problems:
One of the most visible-and therefore most annoying–hair problems is dandruff. There are two types of dandruff: one the result of a very oliy scalp and the other the result of dryness. The oily form of dandruff has the same basic cause as pimples: an imbalance of hormones that triggers the excess production of sebum. The first thing to do is to think about your diet. Cut down on animal fats, but include small amounts of vegetable oils. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and foods containing B vitamins, and cut down on sugar and salt. While the problem persist, massage your scalp daily with a little cider vinegar scented with a few drops of rosemary or lavender oil. Rinse regularly with an infusion of nettles, rosemary, or sage to which you have added 2 tbsp of cider vinedgar per 1 cup of infusion.
The dry form of dandruff is less common and is caused by excessively large number of skin cells flaking away, including some the the softer cells from deeper layers of the skin. This type of dandruff is often related to your general health and state of mind, and can be eased by regular massaging of the scalp with a decocotion of rosemary. Regular brushing acan also help ease the condition.
Dandruff, through is not as common as you may think. It is normal for small pieces of skin to flake off the scalp as it replaces itself. Sometimes what we think is skin is actually dried shampoo that has not been rinsed out. Often, good brushing and regular shampooing about twice a week, thorough rinsing, and the occassonial hot oil treatment and cider rinse, are all that is needed to solve the problem.
